@fprietog: thanks for testing! I figured out the other bug, and why you
didn't see an issue with the upgrade (it only occurs when linux-firmware
and linux-firmware-raspi were simultaneously upgraded, and specifically
to the version in questing which moves everything from the aliased /lib
location to /usr/lib which I *thought* I'd handled in linux-firwmare-
raspi, but apparently not completely).
Anyway, I'll mark this fix released, and set up the SRU for plucky and
noble but that probably won't happen until after questing's release as
there's still work to do there!

Title:
[SRU] Please, update linux-firmware-raspi package to a version that
allow Wifi with WPA3
Status in linux-firmware-raspi package in Ubuntu:
Fix Released
Status in linux-firmware-raspi source package in Noble:
Confirmed
Status in linux-firmware-raspi source package in Plucky:
Confirmed
Bug description:
Current linux-firmware-raspi package version in Noble, Oracular and
Plucky is "2-0ubuntu1" dated 2024-04-13.
It's quite old compared with Raspberry OS current version. This causes
(IMO) an important security flaw in Ubuntu because the Raspberry Pi 4
and latter models Wifi can't use WPA3, is limited to WPA2.
Thanks and best regards.
