Public bug reported:
When trying to upgrade Ubuntu 24.04.2 LTS (Noble Numbat), the package
linux-firmware_20240318.git3b128b60-0ubuntu2.17_amd64.deb fails to
download from http://security.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/pool/main/l/linux-

The server returns a 500 Internal Server Error. Other packages upgrade
correctly, so this issue appears to be specific to the

Steps to reproduce:
Run:
sudo apt update
sudo apt upgrade
Observe the error when fetching linux-firmware.
Expected result:
Package should download and install without error.
Actual result:
The following error occurs:
Err:1 http://security.ubuntu.com/ubuntu noble-updates/main amd64 linux-firmware amd64 20240318.git3b128b60-0ubuntu2.17
