Title:
xorg is required for oem-config to get inputs
Status in edubuntu-meta package in Ubuntu:
Fix Released
Status in ubiquity package in Ubuntu:
New
Bug description:
This was found to be symptomatic in a previous build, but mitigated
with xorg added. xorg was removed from Edubuntu and this came back.
Edubuntu's raspberry pi build still uses oem-config from ubiquity to
set-up the first user. Unfortunately, it has the side-effect of
needing components of xorg present for ubiquity-dm to get inputs from
HIDs such as keyboards and mice. Without this, it fails to function.
