I just did an apt upgrade, and 580 was installed. Then I rebooted and it
all seems fine now.

The thing with libllvm:i386 seems unrelated. That was installed too when
I did the upgrade.

Bug description:
  The last time I touched Additional Drivers was about a month ago, when
  this happened: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nvidia-
  graphics-drivers-570/+bug/2120245

  Since then it seems some automatic update has happened and I have 575
  installed, but now Additional Drivers does not believe that the nvidia
  driver is installed from apt at all (see screenshot). Note that 575
  isn't even one of the available options there. I don't know why 575 is
  installed. I did not ask for it.

  Additionally I have a warning icon in the tray which pops up a message
  saying:

  "An error occured. Please run the package manager from the right click
  menu or apt-get from a terminal to see what is wrong. The error
  message was: ' Unknown error: <class: 'KeyError'> The cache has no
  package named 'libllvm20:i386'")' This usually means your installed
  packages have unmet dependencies."

  Despite all of this nothing seems to have actually stopped working,
  including apt, which looks like it would perform an upgrade if I asked
  it to.

  Needless to say I have absolutely no idea how to reproduce.
