Title:
"Additional Drivers" tab duplicates items
Status in software-properties package in Ubuntu:
Confirmed
Bug description:
Bug Description:
When using the Software & Updates application, under the Additional
Drivers tab, switching to another tab (e.g., Updates or
Authentication) and then returning to Additional Drivers causes the
list of available drivers to be appended without clearing the existing
entries. This results in duplicate driver entries being displayed.
Steps to Reproduce:
Open Software & Updates.
Go to the Additional Drivers tab and wait for drivers to load.
Switch to a different tab (e.g., Updates).
Switch back to Additional Drivers.
Observe that the list reloads and duplicates the previous entries.
Expected Behavior:
The list of additional drivers should be cleared before reloading to avoid duplication.
Actual Behavior:
The list is appended again, causing duplication.
