The corresponding change is now in a PR [1] to fix this on freshly built
images, but a quirk will need adding to u-r-u to remove it from
upgraders (noticed when testing a plucky->questing upgrade); adding
u-r-u as affected.

Status in ubuntu-raspi-settings package in Ubuntu:
  Fix Released
Status in ubuntu-release-upgrader package in Ubuntu:
  Triaged

Bug description:
The z3fold module no longer exists in kernel 6.17 (causing errors in
the kernel dmesg output); zsmalloc is the replacement. This will also
need a corresponding change in the kernel cmdline in the pi-gadget
  repo.
