** Description changed:
After upgrading my laptop to 26.04 last week I was greeted with a "Need
- to reboot to finish system upgrade" this morning.
+ to reboot to finish system upgrade" this morning (the laptop was running
+ over night).
When I finally clicked the reboot thingie in the notification area the
system tried to shut down but then showed plymouth with an "Updating 80%
(iproute2)" and a message flashing by every few seconds (very fast and
nearly unreadable due to that) that an upgrade needs to be finished and
I should not shut down the machine...
Hitting ESC showed that an unattended-upgrade.stop systemd service was
running with a 30min timeout.
I eventually force-rebooted since the 80% did not change in over 20min
