Title:
sort is filling /tmp with uutils_sortXXXX directories

Status in rust-coreutils package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
I've been using ubuntu 26.04 beta and started seeing message like
  this:

  write failed: disk quota exceeded

After investigating I noticed there are what seems to be temporary
directories under /tmp/uutils_sortXXXXX filling /tmp. After I remove
them, system started to work OK again
