Title:
  sort provides unpredictable output

Status in rust-coreutils package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
With Ubuntu 26.04 and sort v. 0.8.0 unpredictable behavior is seen. To illustrate the point, I attach two "sorted" files "sort1" and "sort2", and one more file "sort-old" using an older version 0.2.0 (from Ubuntu 25.10).
  Note:
  * With a new sort lines 14&15 are randomly swapped and stay like that.
      - You can run sort on the files (sort1 and sort2) and it will just stay invariant as they are already sorted.
  * New sort has different sorting preferences, which would be somewhat OK if a consistent behavior would be the case.
