[Bug 2138377] [NEW] Version 0.5.0 has test regressions on Ubuntu

When packaging version 0.5.0 I noticed a number of test regressions when
building in my sbuild Resolute chroot and a PPA
(https://launchpad.net/~bamf0/+archive/ubuntu/rust-coreutils-
lp2138304-package-0-5-0). These are the currently failing tests that did
not fail in 0.3.0-0ubuntu2:

test_env::
- test_env_french

test_chmod::
- test_chmod_colored_output

test_ls::
- (test_device_number) # this did fail locally for me on 0.3.0-0ubuntu2, but was not skipped in d/rules
- test_localized_possible_values

test_sort::
- test_argument_suggestion
- test_clap_localization_help_message
- test_clap_localization_invalid_value
- test_clap_localization_unknown_argument
- test_error_colors_disabled
- test_error_colors_enabled
- test_french_translations
- test_help_colors_disabled

test_tail::
- (test_following_with_pid) # this did fail locally for me on 0.3.0-0ubuntu2, but was not skipped in d/rules
- test_follow_when_files_are_pointing_to_same_relative_file_and_file_stays_same_size_stdout
