Hey there Aaron! Thanks for the bug report. I reviewed all manpages
shipped by sudo-rs (su(1), sudo(8), sudoers(5), and visudo(8)) and none
of them mention timestamp_type as an option. Could you point me to the
place where you found it?

Cheers,
Simon

Title:
sudoers-rs nolonger seems to support timestamp_type

Status in rust-sudo-rs package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  lsb_release -rd
  Description: Ubuntu 25.10
  Release: 25.10

Although still mentioned obliquely in the man page, "timestamp_type"
  appears to be unsupported:

  /etc/sudoers.d/local:18:13: unknown setting: 'timestamp_type'
  Defaults timestamp_type=global
              ^~~~~~~~~~~~~~
