Sorry, that's unclear. What I mean is that status related statements that might be invalidated as a result of external events occurring as time passes should not go into the archive. This especially includes external events may or may not occur contrary to your expectations, such as a planned enablement not occurring.

Title:
[SRU] Block do-release-upgrade from Tegra Orin

Status in ubuntu-release-upgrader package in Ubuntu:
  Won't Fix

Bug description:
  [ Impact ]

   * The currently released jammy image can not be upgraded to noble
until nvidia provides support. Doing so will end up with a broken
system and thus should be prevented.

   * In order to prevent this, block the upgrade from jammy on the
     impacted systems in ubuntu update-manager

  [ Test Plan ]

   * install jammy on a Jetson Orin system

   * launch do-release-upgrade: it should not list noble as a proposed
upgrade (see real output in the comment down below)

[ Where problems could occur ]

   * The blocking could affect other systems if the blocking is poorly
  implemented.

   * The blocking need to be disabled in a future update once upgrading is allowed,
it thus must not prevent update-manager from being upgraded.

  [ Other Info ]

   * The do-release-upgrade system downloads the latest upgrader from Noble, so
implementing a blocking on Jammy requires doing the change in Noble.
