After further testing, it does not happen with all packages. For
example: if I deselect libreoffice it crashes. If I deselect document
scanner it does not crash.

Bug description:
  If I open the software updater and deselect any item I don't want to
  update, the software updater crashes.

  I expect to be able to deselect updates.
