[Bug 2150880] [NEW] In NFS-mounted directories, depending on the number of items, whitespace is inserted between the permissions and the rest of the entries

On an upgraded Ubuntu 26.04 system with coreutils-from-uutils (coreutils 0.8.0).
When I make an "ls -la: in an NFS mounted directory, I got a lot of white spaces between the permissions and the rest in each row. The number of spaces depends on the contents of a directory. In big directories which contains a lot of files and directories, the output becomes unreadable. 
In local directories everything works fine.
If I create an alias, i.e. 
   alias ls='/snap/core24/1587/usr/bin/ls -F --color --group-directories-first'
ls works as expected.
