Title:
  Ubuntu 26.04 Boots Into Emergency Mode When Using Multipath on
  ThinkSystem 440‑16e SAS/SATA PCIe Gen4 12Gb HBA.

Status in subiquity package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  Steps to reproduce:
  1.Install Ubuntu 26.04/20260308/ in multipath configuration using JBOD on 440‑16e SAS/SATA PCIe Gen4 12Gb HBA.(resolute-live-server-amd64)
  2.Observe OS Boots into Emergency Mode When Using Multipath device.

  error output: (please see the picture)

  
  Diagnostic:
  1)Append the "rd.auto", it will show multiple single storage devices and mutipath devices, and then install ubuntu 26.04 on one of the multipath devices, it can install OS normally. The detail please see the picture. I also attached the syslog and dmesg.
   
  Expected behaviors:
  Ubuntu26.04 should boot successfully in multipath mode on 440‑16e SAS/SATA PCIe Gen4 12Gb HBA.

  Current behaviors:
  OS Boots into Emergency Mode When Using Multipath on ThinkSystem 440‑16e SAS/SATA PCIe Gen4 12Gb HBA.
