Tbh, I never clicked the graphical "Upgrade available" button.

Now please run `sudo do-release-upgrade` in terminal so that we can see
what exactly is preventing the 25.10 to 26.04 upgrade.

  I am on Kubuntu 25.10
  Yesterday I was notified that 26.04 was ready for upgrade. I have since been trying to use the standard channels to upgrade to the latest version.

  That is all. Its nothing urgent. This is just being placed to help the
