[Bug 2152792] [NEW] Upgrade to latest version 26-04 from 25-10 failed with error "Could not calculate the upgrade"

Public bug reported:

I tried upgrading from Software Updater and obtained the mentioned error.
Then I tried to upgrade from terminal with commands

sudo apt update && sudo apt full-upgrade

which returned 'All packages are up to date' and then

sudo do-release-upgrade

which returned the above error.
During the process the release upgrader reported the existence of one snap warning. When I issued the command

snap warnings

I obtained
