Thx for the report, I am already working on a fix for this. What seems to happen is that the EFI framebuffer gets killed, likely as a side effect of ACPI SCMI. For now we can include the linlon and trilin dp drivers in the initrd to fix it.
When I tested on my O6N earlier today it did come up once the full rootfs was available so you might just need to wait a little longer.

Title:
[CIX] Orion O6N: no display output when booting Ubuntu Concept CIX P1
Status in ubuntu-concept:
New
Bug description:
Image/ISO used: resolute-desktop-arm64+cix.iso (copied to USB stick)
Target hardware: Orion O6N
Firmware version: 1.2.1 (ACPI SCMI enabled)
Steps to reproduce
Write resolute-desktop-arm64+cix.iso to a USB stick.
Boot the Orion O6N from the USB device.
Select “Try or Install Ubuntu” from the boot menu.
Observe kernel boot messages (visible when removing quiet).
When the system switches from kernel boot to the graphical interface, the display turns off.
Expected result:
The Ubuntu live environment should start normally and display the
graphical interface (installer / desktop).
Actual result:
Kernel boot messages are visible.
Just before the graphical interface starts, the screen turns off.
No further video output is visible.
Additional information:
The same hardware (Orion O6N) works correctly with Debian 13 using kernel 7.0.0-generic
(see: https://docs.radxa.com/en/orion/o6/other-os/debian13
).
