It looks like the upgrade may be about to work. I had recently run:

```
sudo apt install --reinstall nautilus
sudo apt install --reinstall lintian
sudo apt install --reinstall libfile-libmagic-perl
sudo apt install --reinstall libyaml-libyaml-perl
```

I think the last one is actually the one that made a difference, as I'm
fairly sure I had tried the upgrade after the first three.
