On that bug report it was claimed that removing them was deliberate.
Therefore they should be removed from the package.

`hashsum` is also broken in a similar way, and should also be removed.

Title:
  sha3 executables are broken

Status in rust-coreutils package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
  The following executable links:

  sha3sum
  sha3-224sum
  sha3-256sum
  sha3-384sum
  sha3-512sum
  shake128sum
  shake256sum

exist but do not calculate SHA3; instead they behave in an identical
way to the utility `sum`; this is because their name ends with "sum".

They should either be removed, given that they do not exist in GNU
Core Utilities, or uutils should be modified to implement these in
similar ways to how the SHA2 utils are implemented.
