How to get git code?

I use "git clone git://kernel.ubuntu.com/hwe/fwts.git" to get fwts code

I recalled that some people in China have problems accessing
kernel.ubuntu.com before so Colin King also hosts fwts code in his github
and you can use
   "git clone https://github.com/ColinIanKing/fwts"

I tried both just now and they work fine for me.
