fwts - execution/usage doubt

Hi FWTS Developers,

Am new to this fwts and 1st time user of this.

Have few doubts regarding the execution/usage of the fwts.
I downloaded fwts Version 17.08.00 and was able to successfully compile it as per the README file, but when I tried testing UEFI test cases (getting time from RT Services) - it says 35 test cases passed but in actual all the test cases returned EFI_INVALID_PARAMETER.
Looking into code it looks like ioctl is returning "-1".

Is there any step am missing out here ?
