   * Completely repackaged and now based on the Debian package (which has
     provisions to make Ubuntu customizations very easy).
   * patch restrict_to_plugdev: Only allow pmount and pumount to members of
     group 'plugdev'.
   * patch umount_dont_enforce_uid: Disable the check that the umounting user
     is the same as the mounting one; this is required to allow hald (running
     as user 'hal') to unmount ripped out removable devices.
     In the long run, a better solution needs to be found, though.
