It's a convenience that I, as the user, would be responsible for, and keep
all the pieces if it breaks. If I have a private cloud and just want to
give juju a quick run, it beats having to publish simple streams. And it's
not hard to imagine that a shop would just worry about one image type:
precise 64bits.

I understand that once the tooling around publishing simple streams gets
better, this point *might* become moot (it's sitll an extra step, or two
even: tools and images). But it really needs to be simple.
