I've just installed mongodb-server locally, and it allocated 3.1GB of
data/journal files in /var/lib/mongodb. However, if I create
/etc/defaults/mongodb as you suggest (ENABLE_MONGODB=no), only the
directory is created and no data files are allocated.
I'm guessing it would be rude for Juju's package to create
/etc/defaults/mongodb, and it's a bit of an ugly thing to ask folk to
do by hand, but it's fine as a workaround.
