Hey all
Here is a link to some initial sketches
<https://docs.google.com/a/canonical.com/document/d/1kRmFUDDut4TPv4cueUzRXABXYcb7QJ9yz-N3RNTxbCA/edit>
for a flow and screens concerning the login for Juju GUI (thanks for
your info Gary, via Alejandra).
Please add any comments to the document if you have queries, issues,
answers or suggestions.
I've sketched two possible options for presenting the login;
"in page" - the login screen appears in the current juju gui but with
only the charms panel being accessible. This would mean a user can still
browse charms even if they can't login.
"block page" - the GUI/canvas can't be accessed until authenticated by
the username/password.
I'm preferring the second option. The login interface is the same
across both options and includes some instructions on where the password
can be found/obtained.
Some Questions (included in the document):
Do we need a "logout" option within the GUI?
Is there any legal jargon we need to include?
Should we includes links to jujucharms and juju.ubuntu.com?
Is there a standard Canonical/Ubuntu login pattern we need to adhere to?
Cheers,
Nick.
