Error: Charm not found in local repository

It needs to be 'metadata.yaml'. As in, _yaml_ not yml.

You can remove that file. The commands 'charm update' and 'charm getall'
are being deprecated in favor of using the charm store. For charm dev,
its better to just check out charms as you need them.
