Indeed this is the plan!
The Canonical IS team is on this, and they've made some good progress
on this so far, I've transferred over the wp-content and mysql dumps
over to them to redeploy to production and they made good progress
today. We've also gotten a design review from the design team, which
have given me some pointers on making the site more compliant with the
Ubuntu design guidelines. I've handled 90% of these, and at some point
the website will be taken over by someone who can do this better than
me, right now we're concentrating on replacing juju.ubuntu.com asap.
Some thanks out to Michael Barnett and his team in IS, and to Marco
Ceppi for working on adding an Apache option to the wordpress charm
(Main > all else, so we need to have this anyway). We should be sorted
by next week (cross them fingers!)
The final workflow will be that the wp-content will be in a bzr branch
on launchpad, if you need to do major website things you'll branch,
commit, and push, then file and RT ticket to refresh the content. For
normal content upgrades I'm planning on having ~charmers have access
to WordPress via OpenID so they can add/change content.
