Hi,
We are currently trying to get both juju-core and mongo (with SSL)
into 12.04 as a backport, but has been delayed due to the MongoDB/SSL
debate that was escalated to the TechBoard (which we now have
resolution)[0].
It seems we need a newer golang toolchain in Precise backports, and
this has raised another area of discussion as it is undocumented
policy.
To be able to support it better, we'd much prefer it in the primary
archives - but until then, using the PPA is certainly the recommended
approach.
[0] SSL enablement for MongoDB was OK after all (but openssl is not
considered a system library)
