# Juju Charm Ecosystem Status for 24 July

## Highlights

 - OSX Client
 - Initial deployer integration is done for lp:amulet
 - New jujucharms.com !
   - downloads
   - commit #
   - charm rating
   - social sharing
   - testing status

   - manage.jujucharms.com has all the charming tools (ie review queue)
   - Juju GUI mock environment (juju deploy juju-gui)
 - Rails charm Updates
   - almost ready for deployment
   - added support for forman
   - added support for ruby version
   - added support for HA Proxy
   - nagios, logstash in the queue


## Tools/Helpers/Testing

 - charm-tools proof updated to no longer include revision file
 - charm-tools create function updating to make sure template is current
 - amulet: deployer integration
 - helpers: no major updates to report


## Docs

 - Working on restructing the charm author docs. Specifically, the
writing a charm and intro to charm writing. Found the step-by-step
charm guide was incorrect, thus working with Marco to create a new
guide. This is delaying the update a little, but still targetting end
of week (July 26)
 - Also have in queue to work with the UI team on documenting the juju-gui
