Just a quick, erm, note to let you know that release notes for stable
versions are now on the docs page, so you can easily find out which
version your favourite features were added in, wallow in the nostalgia
of the 1.14.x series or appreciate the minimalism of 1.16.1.

The notes use a cunning twisty thing so you only need see the version
you are interested in.

P.S. Grammatical foibles have been preserved in the interests of
historical accuracy.
