The problem is in gamin and the way in which clients talk to the server
and it is independet from how the kernel provides info to gamin.

Basically the issue is that in some cases gamin doesn't remove the monitoring
lock on a dir, in other cases it trashes the lock.

The kernel side is ok, as i explained in another bug (the famous loop one)
