I have a Sony Micro Vault 256MB USB 2.0 that wont work under Ubuntu Hoary 5.04
(final) and one of my PCs.
I have 2 PCs with Hoary, PC1 is:
- Soltek 75FRV (Via KT400)
- AMD Athlon XP 2600+
- 1GB memory (2x256MB + 1x512MB)
- NVIDIA GeForce FX 5900XT 128MB
- USB device: Logitec MX700 Mouse
PC2 is:
- Asus P2L96 (Intel i440LX)
- Intel Celeron 300A (@375MHz)
- 256MB memory
- Matrox Productiva G100
- USB device: Alcatel SpeedTouch USB (DSL modem)
My Sony Micro Vault 256MB works good under Windows on PC1 (Windows XP SP2) and
under Ubuntu Hoary on PC2.
When I use Sony Micro Vault 256MB under PC2 I have this message under syslog:
Apr 25 22:41:46 zoccolotta kernel: usb 1-1: USB disconnect, address 3
Apr 25 22:41:49 zoccolotta kernel: usb 1-1: new full speed USB device using

Instead in PC1 syslog:

I tried on PC1 both Kernel 2.6.10-5-k7, 2.6.10-5-686 (the same I use on PC2) and
2.6.10-5-386.
Thanks.
