This is a short version of a long the tech mess and this bug should be marked as
CANTFIX more than WONTFIX.

The issues are 2:

1) the 0x16 radio is shipped only on CDs and we cannot distribute it.
2) there are serious issues with firmware names and models overlapping.

Point #2 is what makes this bug unfixable. Basically they release several
different kind of cards
that can use the same driver, but they differ in the kind of firmware they load.
The problem is that the firmware have the same name even across different
products as they claim
on their website!

So basically there is no way to include the right one or all of them.
