Summary: PCMCIA/Cardbus cards not detected
Product: Ubuntu
Version: unspecified
Platform: Other
OS/Version: other
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: linux
AssignedTo: ben.collins at ubuntu.com
ReportedBy: martijn at foodfight.org
QAContact: kernel-bugs at lists.ubuntu.com
On my HP NW8240, which has 1 PCMCIA slot, cards are not detected. The slot _is_
detected, and the yenta driver loaded, but putting a card in the bay doesn't do
anything (it doesn't even seem to generate an interrupt, according to
/proc/interrupts). This is not a hardware problem, as everything works fine in
the pre-installed Windows XP.
Will attach output of lspci -v and dmesg shortly
