Ubuntu | kernel-package

Summary: Networking on eth1 doesn't work in breezy when ACPI
                    enabled
           Product: Ubuntu
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: i386
        OS/Version: other
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: kernel-package
        AssignedTo: ben.collins at ubuntu.com
        ReportedBy: wrlach at gmail.com
         QAContact: kernel-bugs at lists.ubuntu.com

My system: IBM Thinkpad R32. Will attach lspci info and output
of /var/log/messages.

Basically, unless you specify either pci=routeirq or acpi=no to grub
when booting the kernel, the non-wireless ethernet device (eth1) will
not initialize correctly. (haven't tested the wireless device, eth0)

This setup worked fine in Ubuntu Hoary, so something must have changed.
I am using the latest version of Breezy as of Aug 25, 2005.
