Sorry for not replying to the previous mail asking for more feedback. I did not
because hibernation is not working anymore.
As you asked, I installed the 2.6.15-7 (k7) kernel from dapper in my breezy
(simply ran apt-get install kernel.... and installed needed deps).
Then, I rebooted. So first, the fbsplash is completely broken, only pieces of
text is displayed with lots horizontal lines... But the system boots. Then,
after login, I choose hibernation. The machine seems to hibernate correctly, but
at wake up:

Freezing cpus ...
Stoping tasks: ===============.......|
Freeing memory... done (43579 pages freed)
GTM info ffffffff,ffffffff,ffffffff,ffffffff,10
GTM info 78,f,ffffffff,ffffffff,13
ACPI: PCI interrupt for device 0000:00:0f.0 disabled
............................swsusp: Need to copy 16454 pages

And then, it is stuck :/

Maybe for the test to be really interesting I should upgrade the entire system
to dapper ?
