dmesg output

I've since upgraded to Kubuntu Breezy (5.10) and have made no more than a
cursory attempt to get irda working.  Oddly, via_ircc was not modprobed
automatically in this install.	Please find attached dmesg.txt.  Anything else 
that is required, please let me know! :)
