I tried updating to 2.6.15-8 today and also downloaded current install iso.
Problem still exist after both update and fresh install.
ls /dev/dvb*
/dev/dvb0.demux0 /dev/dvb0.frontend0
/dev/dvb0.dvr0 /dev/dvb0.net0
Trying to run a simple channel scan utility yields Error: Can't open demuxer device!
Am unsure what else to do.
Off Topic: Fresh Install of Daily/Current i386 iso, grub did not detect Windows
Installation, had to create entry in /boot/grub/menu.lst manually for dual-boot.
Had to apt-get intall nvidia-glx and had to apt-get install gdm before I could
startx. Also, had to Activate eth0 as it did not work by default after install.
All these issues were automatic in latest breezy install. Hope the info helps.
