Summary: suspend fails on Acer TM290 if power adapter is pulled
out during suspend or lid closed- acpi or kernel bug
           Product: Ubuntu
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: i386
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: linux
        AssignedTo: ben.collins at ubuntu.com
        ReportedBy: lists at wikidev.net
         QAContact: kernel-bugs at lists.ubuntu.com

Not sure if this is an acpi-support bug or a kernel bug, so move to the right
one as necessary.

Steps to reproduce:
* start to suspend (to disk or mem, makes no difference) from the gdm logout
menu with power adapter plugged in
* screen blanks
* after about five seconds, remove the power adapter or close the lid
* after the computer has swiched off, resume it again

Result: Resume fails
Expected result: normal resume as without lid/power action

Version: Bug has been around as long as i'm using supend (2.6.8- 2.6.15-8)
