Ubuntu | kernel-package
Summary: sleeping stopped working on 2.6.12-10-686
Product: Ubuntu
Version: unspecified
Platform: i386
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: kernel-package
AssignedTo: ben.collins at ubuntu.com
ReportedBy: hhgarnes at gmail.com
QAContact: kernel-bugs at lists.ubuntu.com
My compaq n800c can not go to sleep (ACPI S3) anymore after I upgraded to the
newest ubuntu-kernel last night. Upon runing the sleep-script, the computer
instantly wakes up, and the primary screen (the built-in LCD) only has three
500px-wide green stripes on it and the mouse is 300x300px block of many colors.
The secondary screen works allright, though. The graphics-card is a ATI 7500
mobility-card.
Everything worked just fine on the last kernel.
