But this will come out only on April-2006, right?
I do not want to install the Dapper-Ubuntu on my running system,
unless I am ready to commit to it.

I did tried the latest dapper-live-i386.iso.
It failed on boot as I reported in Bugzilla #21098.
But I exited to a shell, and issued "modprobe advansys" which 
gave similar error, as in my running system.

I think rather than guessing, better to look for the root cause in 
the advansys.c kernel module. I wonder whether any other Linux-2.6.1x uses this
card successfully.
