This is what I have tried, and had problems as I reported in bugzila #21098.

Right, but it may be worthwhile to see if this advansys.c module
got any related update between the releases. If not, the bug
will probably stay there for 6.04.

I understand. But I want to help Gnu/Linux & Ubuntu to have this
fixed for next release.
