I have downloaded kubuntu dapper flight 2, verified the MD5 sum (ok) and burned
with gnomembaker 0.5.0-3 on Hoary without errors. The CD boots, but in the top
left corner I have a following output:
pstk rstk
: 2: 589.65
: 3: 1.1
: 4: 1.1
: 5: 1.1
: 6: 573.45
0: ffffffff.1 7: 586.15
1: 46.1 8: 583.5
2: 20782036.35 9: 5d7.15
err 8
ip 5be 1a.7
I cannot proceed with instalation. Whatever I choose I get:
I/O error
Error reading boot CD
Reboot
In the top left corner one thing more is printed then, green letters:
isolinux: Disk error 81, AX=8281, drive 88
My DVD drive is OK I'm sure - works fine in Hoary and WinXP.
I tried burning the image with the Graveman and the Gnome built-in writer with
the same results.
Currently I'm downloading the latest dapper install CD snpshot, hope it will be
better.
