Another report of similar entertainment with >2 Promise cards.

and there are a few more around if you do some searching with the right terms.
I guess I need to decide whether to -
1) Buy some sane hardware and never darken your door with this bug again.
2) Stick with it and see if a fix is possible. Or at least a dark error message warning of impending doom
when the 3rd (and subsequent) cards are detected.
