Since 2.6.12-4 I'm missing /dev/inotify, /sys/class/misc/inotify and dmesg no
longer shows the line

localhost kernel: [4294669.643000] inotify device minor=63

Reproduced with 2.6.12-4-686, 2.6.12-5-686 and 2.6.12-5-386.
2.6.12-3-686 is working fine.
