Summary: Freezes after a while when in laptop-mode
           Product: Ubuntu
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: i386
        OS/Version: other
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: linux
        AssignedTo: fabbione at ubuntu.com
        ReportedBy: mbanck at gmx.net
         QAContact: kernel-bugs at lists.ubuntu.com

When on battery, my ThinkPad R51 freezes after about 10-30 minutes on a harddisk
access. The disk LED stays lit and everything freezes. I am using
linux-image-2.6.10-5-686 from Hoary. It appears to happen when the disk gets
spun up again, but I am not totally sure about that. This does not happen when
on mains power and when I disable laptop-mode. It is pretty reproducible, I've
seen it for about a dozen times now, always when on battery.
