Well, in order to remove the vmware modules so that the kernel is no longer
tainted, I'd have to uninstall vmware - which will cause me a whole bunch of
grief, not to mention make it so that I cannot do my job.  And I haven't
upgraded vmware - so those modules are the exact same ones I use in the original
Hoary kernel, without issue.

Let me see if I can get another user that had this same problem to give you a
cleaner kernel output.
