           Summary: ide: failed opcode was: unknown
           Product: Ubuntu
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: amd64
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: linux
        AssignedTo: fabbione at ubuntu.com
        ReportedBy: sjmorgan at gmail.com
         QAContact: kernel-bugs at lists.ubuntu.com

With DMA enabled (amd74xx) I get the following kernel message when moving large
quantites of data:

hda: dma_intr: status=0x51 { DriveReady SeekComplete Error }
hda: dma_intr: error=0x84 { DriveStatusError BadCRC }
ide: failed opcode was: unknown

I get these on both IDE drives but not on the SATA (which I don't think has DMA
enabled but I don't know how to check). One of the drives is new and the other
is only a year or so old. Both pass all SMART health checks and don't suffer
from any problems apart from these messages.
