Yes, can you try noacpi too? the kernel that boots d-i should be the same as the
one that does the first boot.

Also, it would be nice if you can try the daily built cdimage from today that
should have a more updated kernel.

Colin, can you confirm that we ship only -generic on amd64 install cd?
